We are seeking motivated and dedicated MSW interns and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner interns who are looking for clinical supervision to fulfill licensure requirements (LCSW or PMHNP) and advance their professional careers. This position offers a valuable opportunity for supervision from qualified, experienced supervisors to support your clinical development and licensure journey. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a diverse private practice setting while receiving structured and supportive supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical services under supervision, including individual, family, and group therapy.
- Assess and document client progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
- Participate in regular supervision sessions and case reviews with a qualified supervisor.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and psychiatric professionals, to support clients and ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain professional documentation in compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and trainings.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case consultations, and supervision sessions to support licensure goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or relevant nursing degree (e.g., PMHNP) from an accredited institution.
- Registration as a Social Work Intern or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Intern.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a clinical setting with the guidance of a licensed supervisor.
Supervision Requirements:
- Supervision will be provided by an LCSW or qualified PMHNP.
- Supervision is intended to fulfill the requirements for state licensure (LCSW or PMHNP).
